Geoffrey Aitken

Geoffrey Aitken is a Friendly Street awarded minimalist poet who writes on Adelaide's unceded Kaurna land, social conscience driven, post-retirement from senior school English teaching, he reaches out to ex-students unattracted to curriculum poetry. He writes daily to offset the effects of an anxiety driven mood disorder for publishers [AUS] and [UK, US, HR, CAN, FR & CN]. Recently, ‘STREETCAKE’, ‘Stepaway Magazine’ [UK], ‘Vilas Avenue’ [US]. Soon ‘ZiNDaily’ [HR] & ‘Social Alternatives’ [AUS]; Nominated Best of the Net in 2022.
